Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Since Miro is a flexible tool, we use it for various use cases. For example: Documenting internal processes, iterating the design of our website, running trainings and workshops, creating presentations, and collaborating within the team. My favorite use case, is to use Miro for non-linear workflows such as for example putting together a presentation. Although a presentation itself is linear, it really helps to have an open canvas to gather inspiration, quickly iterate on slides, and move things around with a couple of clicks.

Pros

  • Online Workshops
  • Online Facilitation
  • Documentation

Cons

  • Organizing large boards / content
  • Project and team structure
  • Better design possibilites
  • Better ideation
  • Improved productivity
  • More fun
The implementation of Miro is fairly straight forward. And since it's a visual tool, it's not that difficult to grasp how it works.
Since it's an open canvas, the data in Miro is not easy to structure and then pass to other tools.
Tremendously! Miro allows us to work together with people from around the world on a shared context. And now with features like Talktrack, this is even possible while being distributed and not on the same board at the same time.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I think Miro is well suited if it fits in between other tools that are already in use. E.g when a company has tools like Google Workspace for chat and storage. Miro then fits in nicely, to enable a closer way to collaborate. Especially while being apart.

If a company, already uses tools like Figma or another open canvas tool. They might be well of just working on that instead of adding another tool to their arsenal.
