Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Before the pandemic, workshops in my company were held in person, i.e. we worked with real sticky notes on walls. At the beginning of 2020, we were forced to run workshops virtually and Miro helped us a lot because it allowed us to collaborate from home and run workshops effectively.

Before deciding on Miro, we of course also tried out the competitors on the market, but chose Miro because of its functionality, appealing look and ease of learning. We have not regretted this decision so far and have stayed with Miro. Even after the pandemic, many workshops are still held virtually to reduce travel expenses and Miro is still frequently used.
  • Self-explanatory features
  • Alignment of shapes
  • Presentation mode
  • Functional variety
  • Speed
  • Availability
  • Reduced travel expenses (workshops conducted virtually)
  • Reduced expenditure on office supplies (no more sticky notes and pens)
  • improved productivity
Before using Miro, workshops were usually held in person, i.e. employees had to travel to workshops. This often made it challenging to find suitable dates and workshops had to be postponed. Miro connects participants at different locations and workshops can be planned at much shorter notice and at lower cost.

The preparation and follow-up work for workshops is also significantly lower: workshop rooms no longer need to be prepared, materials no longer need to be provided, workshop results no longer need to be laboriously saved and rooms no longer need to be tidied up.
At the beginning of the pandemic, we had to quickly find a remote alternative to face-to-face workshops, especially for our agile teams. Due to the feature set, Miro and Mural quickly became the clear favorites. In retrospect, I can no longer say what ultimately tipped the scales in favor of Miro. In my memory, both solutions were very comparable.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is ideal for conducting virtual workshops where you mainly work with text on sticky notes.

Miro is less suitable for presenting issues in a graphically sophisticated way, e.g. if many different graphic elements are to be used that first need to be integrated.
