Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is used for the following items:
- Product mockups - high level views for apps and desktop views
- Wireframes - high level low fidelity designs for product features
- Process flow diagrams
- Swim lanes
- Constructing org charts - to understand reporting effectively
- Constructing high-level system architecture
- User journey flows
- State diagrams
  • Collaboration between internal and external stakeholders
  • Illustrative diagrams
  • Creating process flows
  • User friendly to create, add and edit elements
  • Color palettes seem to be limited
  • Size standardization for elements can be managed better
  • The free version should have more than just 3 boards to be shared
  • Improved productivity due to easy collaboration
  • Increased accountability due to high level of visibility on shared boards
  • Reduced error rate in user flows due to clear user flow diagrams
We integrated Miro with our Slack chat platform. It was very easy to integrate, considering both Miro and Slack are both compatible without much additional work to be done.

We have not yet integrated Miro with other software, however, the ability to integrate Miro with the google suite for interactive diagrams would be absolutely lovely.
It has improved collaboration at a high level between internal teams and external stakeholders. Access management is also simple, with partial sharing of boards.

It has also allowed us to easily use Miro diagrams for presentation purposes - we use it regularly to generate flow diagrams and attach them to our slideshows or google documents to present to stakeholders
While they may not be direct competitors and have different goals and purposes, we do use Figma where high-fidelity designs are needed, that are specific to an OS or a particular operating device.

With Miro, most of the diagrams and use cases are for very high level low fidelity mockups.

Very well suited for:

Not well suited for:
