Miro - My Daily Go To for Account Management and Project Management
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use it for MindMapping and I have two use cases. I use it for my accounts to track information and so I visually can tell where I am with an account and any potential pitfalls. I also use it for projects that I am working on. I like to use different colors and the bubbles to fill in to indicate things like work in progress and completeness.
Pros
- I like that it is easy to use
- I like that it has versions, so you can go back
- I like the talk track capability
- I also like being able to assign thumbnails to each project and for customer accounts I use their logos.
Cons
- The lines that connect bubbles I wish I had more control over their thickness and also if they could be solid, dotted or dashed.
- I'd like to control the size better on the mind map. Sometimes it seems like I can only go up or down in 25% size increments.
- When I use Stickies, I would like for them to move relative to the rest of the mind map, so they are still oriented the same way to where they were originally placed next to.
- It has helped me "not forget" opportunities within an account that I otherwise might have missed, so it has resulted in increased sales.
- As I am working on an account, I also identify potential trouble areas so it helps me address early or avoid, preventing scrambling and possibly loss of actual or anticipated revenue.
- It has definitely had a very positive ROI, and is well worth the money I spend. I couldn't contemplate life without Miro.
I have collaborated outside of my organization, but with vendors that I am working with on the same account. Their response has been very positive and has helped keep us on the same page throughout the process, and it has also helped co-identify opportunities within accounts that we might have otherwise missed, or stumbled upon too late in the process.
