Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is used by the IT team to brainstorm ideas, create design wire frames, workflow charts and keeping track of design tasks. It addresses the business problem of having an easy to use solution which is intuitive and can be shared internally and externally with 3rd party collaborators. The scope of our use case was to have invest in a SaaS visualisation product which increases productivity.

Pros

  • Easy to use and share with others
  • Create professional flow diagrams
  • Integration with Microsoft Teams

Cons

  • Support for Visio stencils
  • Ability to open vector diagrams such as Adobe Illustrator files
  • Integration with Power Automate
  • Being easy to use and intuitive saves time to learn the product
  • Ability to share Miro boards with others for collaboration
  • Saved around 20% of costs compared to competitor products
We work with multiple customers. The ability to create and share content easily has been one of the most important aspects of using Miro. Collaborating with others used to be quite difficult when sharing files over email or using file content sharing platforms such as Dropbox. Miro's sharing feature makes it a breeze to work with others.
Compared to Microsoft Visio and Asana, we find Miro is more feature rich and integrates with more commercial products such as Microsoft Teams. Having a native integration with Microsoft Teams as an add-in is quite important as Teams is the platform used for our project collaboration. MIro turned out to be the right choice for the company.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is well suited for creating diagram workflows to visualise complex processes. Where it is less appropriate is to export these workflows into other industry solutions such as Microsoft Power Automate. Since the Power Platform is used extensively within Microsoft 365, it would save time to be able to automatically export the workflows.
