Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is widely used in my organization for the purpose of workshops with clients, daily stand-ups, retrospectives after projects, and knowledge-sharing sessions as well. The visual aspect of miro in all the above use cases brings in a wow factor in front of clients and almost becomes a selling point when it comes to client proposal workshops.
  • Elements of Miro, such as sticky notes, a timer with music, and a voting feature, prove very efficient during workshops.
  • Reusability - Availability of templates that can be re-used entirely and also access to Miroverse, where anyone can publish a template and reuse it from the global community.
  • Logo/ sticker packs with useful elements such as AWS symbols useful for architecture diagrams.
  • The table feature is a little bit difficult to use, you cannot easily move around rows or filter rows (particularly difficult to use with 100+ rows. Also, if you color the table by mistake, you cannot undo it.
  • Some people find it difficult to maneuver around Miro, such as zooming out, scrolling to the next frame, then zooming in again, etc.
  • More gridlines with the option to create gridlines on the graph for plotting purposes.
  • Using Agile methodology with the help of Miro in daily stand-ups has increased people's interest in giving updates in the morning.
  • Conducting proposal workshops with clients using Miro has landed in more SOWs being signed.
Yes, definitely, it has increased collaboration for planning in-person events, such as celebrating festivals at home and planning other office events. It has allowed people who are shy to speak up on the call to easily pen down their ideas and make them visible to everyone. It has also made retrospective meetings after the project fun and interactive.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I would recommend it to a colleague for client workshops, daily stand-ups, retrospectives after projects, and knowledge-sharing sessions. The visual aspect of Miro in all the above use cases brings in a wow factor in front of clients and almost becomes a selling point for client proposal workshops. I wouldn't recommend it if you need to add data to a table and have a lot of content.
