Overall Satisfaction with Miro

For me, Miro is a very complete tool and it has various uses and it works for me in many many levels. It's one of the best tools I have for day-to-day operations, or project planning. It allows me to quickly put down even the most raw idea and then go ahead and develop it and work it, into either a flow process, a specific phased project, a conceptual map or anythign in between. I've done team feedback with this, I've done UX, either ideas or overall design feedback. There's probably not a project that I don't start or go ahead and keep track of it using Miro. You can either do presentations, you can do organizational charts, idea maps. I've used it to make mood boards. It's really very flexible. It's very intuitive as well. As an example we have used Miro to map out all the product attributes that we have in or product catalog and it became the base of our Product Information Management system. Everything we mapped out in Miro, we then go ahead and take into our database-- but without having Miro to clearly layout every concept and variable, it would have been much much harder. We've also used Miro to map out our company's five-year plan using group dynamics to gather everyone's idea into one place and easily make it evolve into a document or something that precedes a document, but it can quickly a easily transform and lead your workflow, and transform anything from general ideas, abstract thoughts and discussions into actionable assets

Pros

  • Seamless and intuitive interface
  • Process flows and charts
  • Integrations with outside / 3rs Party tools
  • Graphic interface

Cons

  • Basic vector graphic and design for shapes
  • Animated or click by click flow, functionality - for a PPT
  • Gantt charts functionalty
  • anywhere between 20 to 40 hours of project planning are shed because of the benefits associated to the workflows designed on Miro. We can go ahead and plan for every variable, every scenario -quicker, better, and with much less re-work.
Our team's time is between 40% to 50% remote or home office. Miro makes it almost indifferent, and integrates perfectly with a suite of remote tools designed for this work dynamic.
Figma is more technical - Miro is more broad, more intuitive and easy to use for more fundamental or cornerstone work

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I can't think of scenarios where Miro wouldn't be appropriate - maybe it wouldnt be the most formal presentation tool - but on the other hand its very dynamic... and any scenario or situation where you want to convey and illustrate your ideas clearly, and thoroughly Miro is a "Best in class" tool - for a team alignment, project manager, working session, or virtually anything related
