Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Miro for flowcharts to come up with internal processes in the Product Team or to collaborate with the Design team for website wireframes

Flowchart templates

Wide range of out-of-the-box edit and design options

Cons

Slow loading time
Leaving and responding to comments could be more user-friendly
There are several navbars on all four corners of the screen. This could all be condensed into 1-2 because it gets difficult to figure out what is where

Return on Investment

It has helped us move from on-paper designs and charts to an easier digital version
It becomes easier to communicate ideas with the Product and Design team using Miro

Collaboration

As a remote worker it has helped we work with other team members in a visual way when we don't have access to a physical whiteboard

Alternatives Considered

Figma

I found Figma very complicated to use and navigate. Miro is comparatively much more user friendly and navigable.

Miro is very helpful in designing flowcharts, with multiple templates to choose from. It is also good for designing website wireframes. However, it is a bit difficult to find comments and action items left by team members, and to resolve them and track what is is open and what has been resolved.
