Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro here in our company in different teams: experience, design, product and technology. We use it to document dicoveries and process, to design low fidelity prototypes (wireframe), to facilitate meetings and participation of everyone. For us Miro is like a empty board, a space to create and improve our products.

Cons

  • Organize file, sometimes is hard for other colleagues to find frames
  • Wireframes: more flexibility with components
  • Edit images, would be very good simple editing tools
  • Improve collaboration
  • Reduce time to ideate, make us more commited with the ways to solve a problem than make it perfect and beautiful. Perfect for brainstorming sessions.
  • Reduce cost with differents platforms, its a product that figure out different teams needs.
Hundred percent! I work with differents teams in a remote work, Miro makes easy to communicate and work with them. People started to prefer working from home when we are using Miro because it keeps the meetings organized and instigate collaboration. Recently we had a meeting that we were afraid of people don't participate, but using the post its and voting, everybody had voice and it was very productive.
Miro is free and came first, so outside my job was my first contact with boards tools. It is used by all the company, would be a long and hard step change for another tool. We are used to. I tried FigJam once but as a designer Figma makes me more commited with layout, I feel like Miro let me free of this responsability and free to create.

Miro makes my daily routine easy. My colleague used to say that I'm a Miro magician, but its so easy to use that you don't need to be a pro to understand and in a few minutes know how to use. Of course there is room for improvement, such as, organization and more flexibility in some tools (wireframe components). But for me its essencial to work and help the company achiever their goals. Every task that I would like to do in a paper I go to Miro, its easy to share, to create, to use in meetings. Although I like Miro so much, I don't think its suited for documentation and deal with data. I would rather use a spreadsheet platform or a document software for tasks that ask for organization.
