Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use it to brainstorm and collaborate in the early product definition phases. We also use it to help facilitate conversations, explain mental models, and share diagrams of user flows.

Pros

  • Brainstorming with multiple team members
  • Wireframing is pretty useful with UX designers
  • Organizing mental models and using it as a visual aid

Cons

  • Integration with Google Docs so that I can edit and have it copy automatically over to my doc
  • The organization within a board. Maybe need different sections
  • Zoom in and zoom out always has some bugs
  • Improved productivity and collaboration between UX , Product, and ENG.
Yes definitely. We are a fully remote organization, so having Miro really helped facilitate brainstorming and ideas exchange in a collaborative workshop-like environment in a remote setting.
Figma is better for designers. Its easier to tell the different sections or pages within Figma.

But I really like Miro's wireframing tools - it helps put ideas into a first draft and facilitate conversations from that.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

It is perfect for multiple team members to collaborate on a board, drop stickie notes and ideas. During early product ideations / definitions, this is extremely helpful.
It is also easy to facilitate conversations, use the different thinking maps as a visual aid. We use this in 1 on 1s and also in workshop settings.
