Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use it to collaborate with clients for product discovery and gathering of user research findings from interviews. We use it as a centralized base for the single source of truth. The product addressed the problem where clients who are not able to use FigJam and Miro is probably the best option.

Pros

  • Collaboration tool
  • collating research findings
  • Synthesis

Cons

  • Continuation of usage during offline mode
  • Tag suggestion
  • Less lag
  • Streamlines data synthesis
  • Reduces time to summarize collect data
  • Categorization of findings for good and bad
It provides visibility of my findings to my stakeholders, to say the least. The features are shared to them to contribute but even if they are active in participation (could be due to busy schedule), there is something online for them to view updated research data as a single source of truth.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

No

It is well suited for gathering of research findings, especially when you need to compartmentalise your notes in order to synthesize them. As for the ones that are less appropriate, it can be rather unpleasant to draw a lo-fi wireframe since most users are probably working on the hi-fi wireframes in Figma.
