Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use it as an interactive slide show when having client workshops or presentations. It allows us to have people outside the company edit the miro in real time and add in their own insights rather than a staff member having to scribe everything. It also allows for further engagement when doing workshops virtually.

Pros

  • Quite easy to customise what you want
  • Adds your own personal touch
  • Everyone can work on the same board at the same time
  • Great for virtual engagement

Cons

  • It does take getting to the drag tool so that it doesnt move things around on the board
  • The paste function sometimes doesn't work great
  • More fonts would be nice
  • For the short term it has increased project completion time as it takes a while to get used to
  • Easier for collaboration
  • Less time spent on how we are going to do workshop activities virtually
We have people who work with us nationally and internationally, so it is definitely a plus that we are all able to work on the same document at once. We have found it to be a great tool in collaborating with our clients as well, as it gives them a chance to have a look at the workshop prior and edit what they need to
Miro is the only one that is interactive in terms of being able to have outside parties contribute to the deck and include their own insights. It is also the only one that allows you to zoom out and see it all on the one page. Miro also doesn't required everything to be in a slide so some things work/look better

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Well suited: When you need to work on a presentation with multiple people working on it at the same time.
When you want to make it less structured and more fun and interactive

Less appropriate: When you want people to just view your screen's presentation (it can be distracting for others)
When someone isn't great with adapting to new tech, it can be hard to use.
When powerpoint has more of the features you want
