Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro for brainstorming projects and creating workflows for troubleshooting. Miro allows me to create more open-ended and visual displays for brainstorming with a team (rather than collecting written opinions in a form or such), and create visually comprehensible flowcharts that are (relatively) easy to follow.

Pros

  • Freestyle tools
  • Navigation
  • Sticky notes

Cons

  • Arrows in flowcharts (errors in snapping to grid)
  • Discrepancy between regular shapes and flowchart-specific shapes
  • Shapes on resize
  • Improved productivity
  • Improved collaborative efforts
My team is completely remote, it has allowed us to work on multiple workflows remotely. In addition, in terms of brainstorming, we were able to send out boards for teammates to interact with asynchronously, saving us time on meetings.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro gets the job done when it comes to flowcharts, it's a lot more open to customization than a tool like Lucidchart. However, it tends to struggle when it comes to more complex/in-depth processes.

Miro is a great open template for brainstorming as a team. I only wish it had more built-in options for voting.
