Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is my go-to tool for working with Customers in my consulting business. Thanks to Miro, I can brainstorm ideas with them, propose processes, validate them, and do the final review. Thanks to AI, features Miro was also my digital assistant, during brainstorming or other parts of work it was capable of suggesting ideas that we can work on. It ensures that even if the customer is unsure about the direction, I can always propose some path based on these suggestions.

Pros

  • Mind Mapping
  • Process/Diagrams
  • Presentation
  • AI Assistant

Cons

  • Automatic Management of layout of elements.
  • Text Formatting.
  • Board Automation Options.
  • Miro helps me concentrate on the topic and manage all the details, which increases the quality of my work.
  • Miro gives me a simple space for cooperation, which means a much shorter time to value for my customers.
  • Thanks to the possibility of sharing boards with customers, I'm able to work with them offline to collect information. This is a game changer in how quickly I can jump into their problems.
For a one-person company with various consulting customers, it's a one-click implementation: register an account, choose the proper license, and it works. Sharing content is also one button; maybe password management for boards can be improved. For me, it's a zero-cost implementation, and my customers get how to use it from the start—then the process is nearly transparent.
I don't use integration every day, but I see massive space in Miro to grow in this area. I had one chance to use Jira integration, and it was simple and brilliant. However, giving Miro access to various streams of data can be a big growth of functionality. Imagine visualizing the sales pipeline from CRM in Miro in different forms automatically!
I haven't teamed up as is in my company; rather, I have become part of multiple teams of my customers. Miro helps me collect important information together with them, brainstorm, and create. Finally, I could take review meetings using Miro and get voting and stuff like that in one consistent tool. It was great for me and appreciated by customers.
I think Miro has two advantages over the other solutions. The first one is simplicity of usage. The interface is understandable without any documentation; you just know what to do. The second benefit is a rich catalog of templates, icons, elements, etc. In other tools like Microsoft Whiteboard or Lucid, you need to import your materials very often or create them from scratch, which further complicates things.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is an ideal tool for building professional diagrams and multi-table boards for management and brainstorming using sticky notes or mind maps. It works well both for IT companies to manage their architecture and for consulting companies that want to present advanced processes and topics. When Miro can struggle is repeatability somehow, when I wanted to define 20 processes, coping and modifying each arrow is tiring idea, it's easier than in tools when you can give data and your view will be generated.
