Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use the product to conduct demos and presentations to clients through process diagrams and screenshots; diagrams and workflows can be connected easily using the Miro tool. This helps the clients by providing a clear visualization of the workflow and allows them to grasp the concepts and ideas of the process quickly.

Pros

  • Easy to create workflow diagrams.
  • Integration with JIRA.
  • Collaboration with peers on one single board or multiple boards/projects.

Cons

  • Being able to integrate seamlessly with JIRA add-ons.
  • Provide more templates that are useful for business analysis.
  • Allow for templates on scenarios/decision tree mapping.
  • Improved productivity by categorizing tasks.
  • Improved understanding of ideas visually.
  • Improved alignment across teams internally.
It integrates well with JIRA tickets; a taskboard can also be created on Miro, and the tasks on the board can be linked to JIRA tickets. The tasks can also be color-coded and assigned to specific members of the Team, which provides a nice at-a-glance visualization of all the functions required at a point in time.
It allows all team members to see in real-time the progress the team is making on a taskboard or to see the business process or workflows that other team members created. The Miro whiteboard also allows for integration with other add-ons, which can help enhance the ideas that have been shared.
Miro has free integration with JIRA tickets, whereas Figma requires the user to use the add-on integration on a paid plan. Miro also has a taskboard functionality that can have priorities and is quite intuitive compared to Figma, which is slightly less intuitive.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Specific scenarios and branches can be created on a mindmap or tree to map out test scenarios; this provides easy visualization of what possible combinations can branch out from specific decision tree points. Miro can also be used to map out business processes and workflows visually so that readers can easily understand them.
