Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I work in service design, so I mainly use Miro to map out scenarios and processes for multiple end users. I work in the healthcare space, so a lot of those end users are patients with various conditions and needs. I also use Miro to collaborate with my team and clients during ideation workshop sessions.
Pros
- Miro makes it super easy for everyone to enter a board and complete a task with limited experience with the platform.
- I love how Miro never feels messy - the limitlessness of the whiteboard makes it easy to add in new information and organize it in the way that makes most sense to me.
- It's so easy to integrate multiple pieces of my workstream - since I work with content, having the download functions is very helpful.
Cons
- It would be great if Miro could make it a bit more intuitive to build tables to hold content, especially around scaling.
- Sometimes I come back to a board and I can see what's changed, but having more visual tracking would be great.
- Comments don't paste over from one board to another.
- Replacing all uses of one word with another isn't possible, making for some tedious editing.
- Reduces project completion time with AI function to organize output from a workshop.
- Personally improved my productivity by forcing me to map things out as I'm collecting insights.
Two of my team members are remote most of the year, so it's been great for collaborating with them in our internal meetings. Miro has also been helpful in remote client meetings for presenting information or sharing lots of content at once. It has been really helpful for organizing all of the information we have on one of our clients so that clients could get onboarded more easily and start new projects. This collaboration was made easier by the visual qualities of Miro.
