Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use it as UI Mockup and flow charts for mobile games. It gives a collaborative space to create visuals out of ideas.

Pros

  • Creates UI Mockups.
  • Running group meetings.
  • Collaborative workflow.

Cons

  • Adding the ability to do more image editing in the app with AI. The remove background tool does wonders, but it would be nice to have more imaging editing abilities.
  • Making the layers system more streamlined into the app. I haven’t used the layers system yet, but I think it has great potential.
  • Giving the boards a “start area” where anyone who shares it will join with that as their opening screen.
  • Miro gets everyone on the same page. It allows me to creatively show off new projects while also being able to change things on the fly.
  • Due to its ability to make flow charts, I’d love to see more mobile app templates like the phone device. Maybe adding iPad devices and web devices as well?
  • Miro is great for adapting to any team, big or small, but only if they want streamlined workflow, collaborative inputs, and Freeform edit ability.
I’ve been using Miro for a few years, and honestly, it’s been implemented at many companies I’ve been a part of and worked wonders for all of them.
Some people get overwhelmed when they first open aboard; they aren’t sure what to do. I think some kind of guide or helper may be of use in this situation, as it would use AI to help point the user in the correct direction.
We have very limited collaborative spaces to work in besides Google Docs and Sheets, so having a real-time planning board has been incredibly impactful for visually planning key features and screens.
It’s my favorite software that I implement at every job I’m a part of due to its ease of use and expanse of features.

Any time that a collaborative meeting needs to take place, Miro is the perfect tool to use. Using sticky notes to add meeting thoughts has been a great tool.
