Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro for a lot of collaboration efforts. This is our go to tool for any team collaboration activities, brainstorming, workshops, and so on. Tool is very handy when it comes to both team as well engaging with larger stakeholders for addressing customer needs. Miro templates are very helpful to quickly get started and customize to our needs.
Pros
- Marketplace apps and integrations with Jira/AzureDevOps
- Additional features such as Timer, Private Notes, Voting
- Manage Frames
Cons
- AI very premature at this stage, would like to get this more enhanced to be able to create the templates / outcomes as needed. Currently it is not great
- Trackpad vs mouse zoom sometimes is an issue especially on MacBooks - does not auto detect
- Ability to integrate from lucid charts or other tools such as MS whiteboard or Mural when transitioning to Miro
- Improved and faster Decision making
- Consensus and alignment from stakeholders
- Improved morale, motivation and psychological safety from team members
As I said in earlier comments, this is the go to tool we use for all our collaboration and team activities which requires brainstorming. All our team members are remote, and this is the only way we collaborate together. Great way to help us come to common consensus and bring alignment. Its fun, full of energy and motivating for everyone to collaborate using the tool.
Miro is the best tool I have used so far. Mural has lot of those features, but over the period of time, I think Miro features have really improved. Other tools such as Lucid charts and MS whiteboard are very basic and best for very basic team level stuff. In fact Confluence has its own whiteboard and features, but very limited. Can be used only for few members where limited collaboration required. Enterprise start to think on how many MIRO licenses are really required, as they see free other tools providing similar functionalities at least at smaller scale.
