Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use it for summarising complex ideas, for retrospectives, and for process mapping. This can then be transferred into things like Motion from there. We also use it to map out initial designs and wireframes to give designers an idea of what the product team thinks about as a principle for the user journey, etc. It's great for collaboration and voting in retrospectives.
Pros
- Live collaboration with the team.
- Easy and intuitive shapes and mapping.
- Voting and timers.
Cons
- I sometimes try to begin with a template but can't find one that fits.
- Baking in AI to build boards if info from descriptions would be great.
- AI summaries of what is on a board would also be excellent.
- Improved productivity through collaboration.
- Brought retros down to half an hour, so maybe "improved retro time by 50%".
We have a team in Poland so having a live board to discuss and share ideas has been invaluable. Even our UK team is remote, and our designer is also in Poland, so getting ideas for new projects done on paper and being able to share these and get async comments and changes has been great.
Cheaper and overall a better feature set.
