Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro extensively in all kinds of workshop settings, as well as product team rituals such as planning and retros. Pretty much every new joiner requests a license to become part of the workspace. I personally also use Miro whenever I want to gather my thoughts and sketch a concept that I find hard to put into text.

Pros

  • Extremely intuitive functionality when it comes to navigating a canvas and creating content
  • This way of co-creating with others on the go has revolutionized the way I run workshops

Cons

  • I’ve noticed the voting feature to be a little bit troublesome at times as it’s not entirely clear for the host or the participants how to set it up and how to submit votes
  • I know you would love hard numbers but we have no way of tracking that. Generally speaking meetings are a lot more productive and participants are involved more effectively and equally when using a well prepared Miro with a clear purpose.
We still use the Starter plan despite having 250-300 licenses and there was no specific implementation required.
We’ve been using Miro extensively during the pandemic to ensure active collaboration in hybrid settings / across locations and have never really returned to pen and paper since which is a testament to how much more efficient Miroboarding is even when in the same room.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Well-suited: Workshops around prioritization and to gather different perspectives. Anything you would have done with post-its previously.

Less appropriate: when the audience has a very different levels of experience with Miro
