Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Typical uses are Planning and Product Development workshops. We use for all scrum events, daily stand up and other multi team scrum activities as well as road mapping. Also use for tracking and implementation coordination and team goal setting.

Pros

  • Multiple Team Coordination
  • Sketching to have a conversation
  • Offline / Async Collaboration

Cons

  • Option to Export into Markdown format would be really useful for moving from Board to a Github page (for example)
  • Better Overall Collaboration
  • Context Across teams in different time zones (less time trying to get up to date on latest)
  • Remote Workshop w. Product + Engineering Participation
I did not participate in Implementation - we have a central team that supports us in the company.
I've played a little with Rally integration - but found it was a little cumbersome to work with the stories in the way we needed - I typically export and the import / convert to cards.
we have teams in US (multiple States), India and Ireland. Miro has allowed us to coordinate multi team planning w. scrum teams across these geographies in a highly scaleable way.
Miro best of these for our use case in terms of navigation and usability. Aha covers most of the use cases, but the non licensed sharing / editing options are too limited, and missing some other key things like voting.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Any Remote work or Hybrid scenario - so much better to have a collaborative Whiteboard tool vs. Rally or Jira for scrum.
