Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for workshopping, as a way to start a UX project that allows for slight scatterdness (as this is how website reviews start!), and anything else that let's us work on a blank canvas and shape it as we progress so that we can have something useful internally or for clients

Pros

  • You can collaborate in real-time with colleagues and clients
  • It's really easy to use
  • The templates can be helpful
  • It's great for brainstorming or running workshops

Cons

  • FigJam let's you generate templates via AI, which is flawed but sometimes is a good start
  • I think post-its aren't that user-friendly / accessible, and can be really hard to scan for someone who hasn't work on the board, so can hinder work / collaboration
  • It structures and speeds up idea creation & knowledge sharing
  • It's accessible and anyone can use it on first looks
  • It's easy to guide people around
It's impacted it really positively. It helps us to gather ideas and feedback from remote teams and remote clients both on calls and offline
It's easier to use Miro with external clients as they don't need to have an account / or already be shared into the file

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is excellent for running workshops that require real-time collaboration. It requires planning and work to get the board set up but if this is done properly then it can really help facilitate idea flow.

Miro can get a bit messy if lots of people are inputting ideas, screenshots in an unstructured way, and some Miro boards can be forgotten forever
