Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I'm a product manager and I use Miro every day. My use cases are:

- make flowcharts

- Intermediate with some design dynamics

- show data

- for project monitoring
I use Miro for everything, since the beginning of a initiative, until documentation. It's very easy to collaborate with my colleagues.

Pros

  • It's easy to create visual things, flows, dynamics...
  • sharing with people from different areas of the organization
  • templates that speed up the creation process

Cons

  • Some boards grow and become giants of information. Which sometimes causes navigation crashes and takes time to load
  • I still haven't managed to use AI very well, it would be incredible if with some inputs it could create basic things, like drawing flowcharts
  • Post Its are incredible, they could have more text formatting options, like enumerated lists
  • Improved communication and alignment during project execution
  • Makes co-creation much easier, from initial ideas to wireframe design. This point is especially important in a remote-first culture like the one I work in.
  • Monitoring projects in a visual and practical way. You can indicate those responsible, the agreed dates and details.
To be honest, without a tool like Miro, it is very difficult to work remotely. The processes involving discovery become difficult to carry out without a collaborative and dynamic tool like Miro. I can start with a very initial idea and when I see the board it is already huge, organized and full of input from different colleagues who can collaborate whenever they can, regardless of whether the whole team is online or not.
Miro's usability benefits greatly from its ease. It's intuitive to navigate Miro and discover the tool's N possibilities. When I tested FigJam, I felt lost. I don't use Figma daily, I'm not used to what's there, so using FigJam was even more difficult. The icons are not intuitive, I feel the interface is more 'square'.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Despite the points for improvement I mentioned, Miro continues to be the best co-creation tool for me. Usability is simple and easy to correlate with other icons, for example, from more popular software. Even someone who has never used it can easily find and create it. I already tried using FigJam, and it was so difficult for me to understand where I could do things, that I gave up. I'm still Miro's number 1 fan.
