Leader in collaboration tools for fast paced digital agencies
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Miro is flexible enough to meet a multitude of needs including collaborative workshops (that can be face to face, remote and hybrid), ideation with colleagues and alone, presenting concepts and workflows in pitch situations to clients or colleagues, story telling. I've used Miro to support Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, demos and retrospectives so that all stakeholders can participate and contribute.
Pros
- Create structure for workshops in a visual way
- Enable storytelling for high level concepts
- Annotation of screenshots to convey feedback
- Create mood boards to help with creative processes
Cons
- The usability can sometimes be tricky although for a complex tool it is pretty intuitive
- Support for keyboard shortcuts can be in conflict with browser
- Ability to reduce travel as workshops can be remote (for client and our staff)
- Rapid visual feedback shortens decision making
Miro is a crucial tool enabling our business to be able to perform effectively as a primarily distributed organisation.
