Overall Satisfaction with Miro
In my department, Miro is used for 2 tasks: 1) Project planning (in Gantt chart format). This is used by the whole team to review milestones, usually involving related product teams.2) Visualization of trigger communications in the CRM channel. It is necessary to present the process logic to colleagues. It is also a tool for collaborative work with colleagues from related departments. Through visualization and comments we find growth points. So far, we are not using all available tools, some data is stored in other sources. Therefore, in my work it is part of the public presentation of my work.
Pros
- Working together on a project online. When edits are saved in real time and comments can be responded to promptly.
- A large number of templates to create the desired frame. Simplifies the creation process.
- No lags or errors when working on the board. But I would like to see that the encoding of Cyrillic characters in tables is not broken anymore.
Cons
- I would like the documents pasted on the board to be zoomable, and to be able to select visible parts of the document. Right now, the zoom changes the display as well.
- I wish there was a stealth mode. To not see cursors and movements of other participants on the board. Sometimes it is distracting.
- Translate the interface into Russian.
- First and foremost, it's about improving productivity. When several people can work on a project at the same time and have parallel discussions in one place, it reduces the number of unwanted discussion meetings.
- The executor can immediately make edits from colleagues and the result is saved instantly. In addition, the information can be exported and shared with other colleagues not only by link, but also in PDF format. This reduces the time spent on the project. Approvals are made in real time.
- As for the monetary impact - I cannot judge here, as there are no sufficient data.
At our company, employees have a hybrid work schedule. Therefore, in order not to gather everyone in the office at the same time, we arrange calls where we work together on the board. As I said before, this has reduced the number of these conferences, and it has also reduced the project delivery time. Last example: last time it took 2 months to create a similar project, we created a visualization of communications in 2 weeks and 4 calls.
Had no experience with other services.
