Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for brainstorming during our design development phase. It also facilitates interactive sessions for problem-solving and change management. Miro is an excellent visual tool for building consensus within a group and also illustrating the design process to our clients.

Pros

  • Allows for participation of many users
  • helps to visually collect ideas with links
  • illustrates workflow and decision making

Cons

  • Miro doesn't allow you to see who has added specific elements to the board.
  • Copying a link is not as visual - I would like to be able to copy a link and see a thumbnail of title of page copying of for it to pull and image. I have to instead create a snip of an image and then hyperlink this.
  • It greatly improves consensus building
It helps us work together visually across all of our locations. We are a very visual bunch and its great to illustrate our thinking together as a team using Miro.
Miro is generally very similar to Mural. Our company transitioned from Mural to Miro and I am not privy to the reasoning. I do think the one element that Mural has made easier than Miro is the copying in of links to boards and having more control over what they look like.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

For brainstorming or pulling in ideas - it is more tedious to make it a visual board. You don't always have an image generated from a link being copied in.
