Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro to document my thought processes visually. It helps me plan out workflows such as email sequences, or even in my personal life things like photo mood boards for my house . It helps the team collaborate on projects by sharing boards and using it as an area to ‘brain dump’. It’s really a brilliant tool and super simple to use.

Pros

  • Ux
  • Easy to learn
  • Easy to share
  • Easy to collaborate

Cons

  • More options for colours
  • More options for fonts
  • Maybe opportunity for AI
  • Involve more ‘canva’ like design features
  • It helps us brainstorm ideas which helps us feel inspired
  • New ideas formulated help us push new objectives
  • It helps us track our progress as we can look back to the formulation of ideas and see where they’ve got to
It helps us collaborate on cross-functional projects by having multiple teams and stakeholders be able to access and edit the board at any time. We can work together no matter what timezone we're in as we have the freedom to access the board whenever we please. It's especially helpful on remote calls where we are all in the board collaborating and have a live overview in the meeting of what everyone's adding in and can discuss opinions. But also have a clean board to refer back to, where all of our notes are stored.
Miro board is a bit more user friendly and I'd say more targeted at businesses, vs personal use. They're very similar tools but Milanote will limit you to 100 items per board before you must upgrade to a paid version, I'm not sure Miro board has the same rules as this, I may be mistaken but it seems a lot more accessible from my perspective. Visually, I find the UX more enticing as well. The graphics and tools available for your disposal are more sleek and well designed.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I’ve used a few of Miro’s competitors and while they’re good I tend to always come back to Miro as I just find it so simple to use, easy to divide out different categories and thoughts through separate boards. It has everything I’d need from a tool like this really.
