Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is a great tool that we use across multiple teams for various workshops, creating user journeys, sharing designs and mapping out product flows. One of my clients even use a template within it that shows who is going to be in the office each week. It is an invaluable tool.

Pros

  • Multiple people working on the same file
  • Templates for workshops
  • Great tools, like emojis, for creating user journeys

Cons

  • Being able to link to an app, like Figma, to share designs
  • Being able to copy and paste from an external application into Miro
  • Exporting features being more detailed
  • Improve communication
  • Improve productivity
  • Ensure everyone is on the same page - strategy
It has been the perfect tool. I have used Miro in multiple organisations with people all around the world. It has been great to use in workshops and ensures that everyone feels like they have had their say in the project. Miro makes the distance not an issue whether in the same city or across the globe.
I have used FigJam but not extensively. Miro is much more accessible to the people I work with and they are much more familiar with it.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

It is fantastic for workshops, mapping and creating journeys and working with multiple people. I do not use it for creating UX designs as it is not detailed enough to do that. However, being able to import PNGs into it, means that designs can still be shared and commented on. it just takes a bit to copy and paste into Miro.
