Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro instead of powerpoint or illustrator to share large boards that we use for inspiration, building out our programs, organizing, and we even use miro to present to other teams. I personally like Miro because everyone on various teams has access to the same info that is updated live, and it's easy to load (no more adobe crashes).

Pros

  • Keeps various teams in the loop
  • Easy to load and expand
  • Easy to add notes and comments to teammates

Cons

  • The mobile app tends to bug out if the board I'm trying to access is too large.
  • The text function creates a SUPER large text box that often runs off screen and is annoying to size down
  • Improved productivity
  • Transparency and organization amongst different teams
We have a hybrid team, with some people being local and others not. We also have to cross - collaborate with other teams in our organization. So, Miro has made all of this a lot easier, giving everyone on various teams access to the same information that is constantly updated live.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is really helpful to those in creative fields such as myself, where we are constantly communicating and adding / removing idea's from boards that we share. I love the fact that I can add more and more and more to a Miro board, and it doesn't affect anyone's ability to load or access the same board. I feel maybe it would be less appropriate for someone in a STEM related field where Excel might be superior.
