Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro for collaboration on product development, and for workshops and similar working sessions.

Pros

  • It has loads of functionalities
  • It has many templates to get you started
  • It allows for realtime collaboration, with many handy tools like voting and timers

Cons

  • Miro can be buggy when drawing lines. It always tries to connect it to objects, but sometimes you just want a straight line that is not connected.
  • Boards can become big, resulting in Miro taking a long time to load.
  • No date stamps or something similar. So you don't know which part is older or newer.
  • Improved productivity
  • Improved collaboration (quality)
Miro has definitely improved our way of collaboration in teams working from multiple locations. It's way more interactive than sharing presentations or documents to collaborate on. It is really useful to combine text with visuals, drawings, tables, etc. And I love the collaborative features such as voting and timer.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro works very well if you want to collaborate online. It allows for many types of input, on which you can all work at the same time. The boards are also 'infinite', so you can always add something wherever you want.
Love the new AI functionalities.
Miro is less useful for gathering quantitative data, such as tables. For this, Excel remains better.
