Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro to present new ideas of projects and to facilitate planning or strategy meetings. Miro help me to organize my ideas in a flexible and visual way, while I keep the focus of my audience using his real team collaboration tools. I use from small team meetings, to OKR's planning with different stakeholders.

Pros

  • Real time collaboration
  • Flexibility in the use of a wide variety of design and information assets
  • Ready-to-use template with the most common use cases

Cons

  • Bringing data or tables from format such as Google Sheets or Excel could be improved.
  • Increased productivity and effectiveness during planning or strategy meetings
  • Reduced time designing rigid slides
I used to work with a distributed team across 3 countries and Miro was our main where we defined and made follow up of our team strategy. OKRs and team vision and responsibilities were designed around the customer journey map, remembering us constantly in which areas we had to focus.
We selected Miro due to the wider availability of templates and tools we needed in that moment for the team.

Miro works from the individual level (to take notes or present project) to the middle and large team sizes. It is perfect to present new ideas or keep track of project plans or designs, specially when you need the participation or collaboration of different people. It work best in environments prono to creativity and constant changes.
