Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use it for cross team collaboration and brainstorming. Before we also used it for road mapping, since it was easier than FigJam to share with stakeholders as well, but not as much recently.

Pros

  • Collaboration , especially for larger teams
  • Brainstorming
  • Easily paste links to other materials

Cons

  • Organization of the boards itself
  • Hard to find relevant boards
  • Synthesizing all the stuff on the Miro board into relevant insights that are relevant elsewhere (graphics wise)
  • Improved productivity
  • Better visibility
  • Better collaboration
It's been really useful to get everyone just thinking in one space. I do think collaboration has improved since everyone has access to Miro, compared to something like FigJam where we need to pay a lot for extra seats
Miro pricing much better, and it has greater flexibility

If you need a really powerful whiteboarding tool, in a large company where lots of people need to contribute, Miro is great. It was much more flexibility in it's tools compared to FigJam. Basically for any early stage brainstorming or ideation, Miro is good.

If you want to do things beyond that, like road mapping, or bringing it from the file to designs, might be better to try another tool
