Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We work in a remote environment, and collaboration can be challenging at times. Miro helps us stay on the same canvas, creating greater alignment with various stakeholders. Having so many templates is also helping facilitators like me, and saving us from spending so much time reinventing the wheel. Lastly, it gets better on interactive aspects - really like spinning wheels and many other small plugins or solutions embedded in Miro.

Pros

  • Workshop set up
  • Templates
  • Interactive sessions
  • Help us being on the same page
  • Presentations

Cons

  • Settings arrangement
  • Integrations with other solutions
  • AI side
  • Efficiency being on the same page
  • Creative enablement
  • Capturing and co-designing the solutions
  • Inclusiveness
This is a bit tricky - I think it is very nice tool for me but beginners who doesn't know anything about such collaboration tools - there is still a learning curve. I created a small slide how to use it for people who doesn't use Miro regularly... I don't know how you can improve it but there shall be a small welcome case that we can reuse.
Wireframe - table - some AI - and templates.
This is not only up to me - the rest of the group is still using other tools and therefore sometimes I feel clashes about being all-in-one platform. Designers goes into figma, product people goes into powerpoint and as a creative my first tool is Miro - but it is quite hard to convince all parties :)
I think Miro is definetly is better than FigJam and Mural -
I also write Confluence - which is also a bit collaborative creative and documentation happening there -
so it is really hard to describe why Miro is better but more freedom is helping me while it is creating disconnection with linear thinkers.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

If you are planning to run a remote session, this is the best available tool in the market. There are some other tools but I am using it since it was realtime board. Lastly, be proactively clean and connect the dots with other tools - some people may find it difficult to read all the canvases and business prefer Confluence and sharepoint pages...
