Pros
- Visual collaboration ( very powerful for alignment )
- Quick and low friction designing that is for anyone ( its super easy to get used to )
- Presentations to internal audience on items discussed and decided on weeks leading to it
Cons
- Initial adoption from PPT / Confluence is not very easy
- Target userbase - AGES 50+ age groups might find it hard to follow along as there is some "expected" knowledge to start designing
- When boards are packed with content it takes a long time to load / edit or present with a moderate internet connection
- Team productivity - half the time to align sometimes. We end meetings early a lot more
- More folks are ready to design before talking about visuals. Makes meetings super effective
- Low friction presentations that help team celebrate wins and collaborate at will
Templates - I use a lot of them ( I might edit them ) for scenarios
Roadmapping stock designs are super valuable and very clear
Stickies and comments are invaluable when it comes to collab and having people add their voices in text

Not to the extent described above.
I still have to port over work to Confluence
Reasons :
1. Its easy to edit in Miro and collaborate
2. It is ALSO easy to lose information coz people edit wrong items and sometimes unintentionally make templates worse
3 Workplace enforced workflows are unavoidable outside of Miro

Miro is top of list for me
I moved to Miro as it was a welcome change and everyone in my team adapted ( noteasy unless platform is great )
Main reason : As I have mentioned before, ease of access and usage
