Move over ol cruddy junk hello new hotness
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use it for project workflows, collaboration with peers, laying out and working through SCRUM methodology.
Honestly sometimes i just use it for brainstorming or as a scratchpad with linear ideation just doesn't seem to be working. Sometimes I start in One Note and find it stifling, THEN jump to Miro for something more freeform. I usually try to zoom way in so I can expand out as my thought process expands or grows then connect the concepts I like. It's not perfect but it works really well for my differently abled brain. :)

Pros
- Expands to fit my workflow
- Makes reshaping or boxing in screenshots or clip art easy
- connecting thoughts and ideas with flow chart lines and connectors easily
- Generation of AI content is smooth and simple
Cons
- Layering can be difficult at times
- Pasting images while zoomed in can interrupt your workflow appearing HUMONGOUS, leading to have to zoom out to fix it.
- It can be tricky to sign up for some of the preview features. I'd like to be a part of a 'Beta Program' where I can work with the latest and greatest by default, knowing there may be bugs to report. Sign up once, stay enrolled. Rather than applying for feature testing one at a time.
- Productivity
- Creativity
- Efficiency
Love the new AI additions, really helps with the brainstorming process, I also really love the templates section. If I have something that doesn't seem to fit the mold, I start from a template and make it my own!
Yes, Miro has indeed affected how I use other tools or platforms in my tech stack! I used to use PowerPoint a lot in my workflows, often times as a stopgap for other tools I didn't have access to. Miro has filled in A LOT of those use cases especially in my brainstorming sessions.
I think Miro blows what I call the ol' cruddy junk out of the water. It is the new hotness!
