Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is my first tool for almost everything. It is where I organize my ideas for a meetings or presentations. It is the best tool that I know to use for collaboration between teammates and project stakeholders . I've been using Miro even for fast prototyping and already used this prototypes to approve concepts with my clients. And it was approved! So, in resume. Collaboration, self-organization and prototyping.

Pros

  • Collaboration such as online workshops
  • Drawing processes diagrams
  • Low fidelity prototyping
  • Making mind maps

Cons

  • Organizing frames for presentations are confused. And not rarely, the organization is lost when I log off Miro.
  • I don't think I can offer a ROI number for Miro. What I can say is: Miro is essential for what I've been doing for a long time. I've been using Miro mostly at the companies that I work. It is expensive for a particular use. But, in every company that I work, I required a Miro's license.
It's intuitive for the most things that I need. To be honest, in this week a coworker suggest that we've use a feature that involves an integration with azure. I could't make it work.... But, again, to be honest. It doesn't make difference for our final output. So, I didn't understand the feature, and didn't worked for what were doing.. But it didn't matter.
It has started as a big white canvas to write virtual post-its. That feature still it is the most important feature. As I said before, the different libraries of components makes Miro in a super versatile tool. So drawing processes, mind maps and prototypes , facilitating workshops, and use as a knowledge repository.
Miro is fundamental for most of what I do. But, when I need to specialize some delivery, such as prototyping and presentations, then I need to use others tools, such as Google presentations or Figma. But until that is needed, I rely in Miro for almost everything. So yes. The way Miro behaves today, works for me.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is awesome to be used as a place that I can use as a knowledge repository. In a single Miro, I can let the outputs of workshops that I facilitated, information that I researched, organize information and most important, share with my peers.

That are things that Miro doesn't do so well. But to be honest, I don't expect Miro does everything. I believe Miro's team can keep concentrating in improve collaboration and the use of a libraries of different components to draw everything that Miro's been doing so far.
