Overall Satisfaction with Miro
As a Scrum Master I use Miro mainly for doing Retros and PI Plannings. We also use it for refining requirements and discuss them to create user stories out of them.
We use Miro also to track our progress through the PI. To do that we use Jira Tickets synchronized with Miro.
We use Miro for Teams up to 10 people, but also with around 150 users during PI Planning
Pros
- Easy to use
- Jira synchronization
- aligning Objects to each other
- integrating videos, pictures, PDF and PPT
Cons
- Frames in Frames
- locking objects inside tables
- Miro App gets stuck and crashes
- Organizing multiple open Boards
- I would not know how to do remote/hybrid meetings otherwise
- Its much more efficient than doing it on Whiteboards and afterwards taking pictures
- I would expect it saves me about 10 hours of working time a month
Working together on one board at the same time
creating videos on the board to make it possible for people to watch them independently
private mode
timer => would be good to have the possibility to have multiple timer on the same time
voting is great to come to a fast agreement
tables are easy to use
I still use it mostly together with MS Teams. Actually I am not sure if I could have a meeting only on Miro with video calls?
Also I use the connection to Miro mainly to show Jira tickets. I am not really changing the tickets with Miro
I used a bit Microsoft Whiteboard some years ago, but at this time it was far behind Miro
Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?
Not sure

Yes
Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?
I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process
Did implementation of Miro go as expected?
I wasn't involved with the implementation phase
Would you buy Miro again?
Yes
