Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I used Miro for brainstorming and Dataflow chart. For Dataflow, I believe Miro is good platform because I can drag screenshot if I want to, to explain the chart or flow more detail. For brainstorm, I made people gather, and I ask their opinion. I personally like the feature that tells if everyone is working or not.

Pros

  • GUI, I like how smooth the platform is.
  • Cursor, I know what other people is working on.
  • Flow, there are many logos or boxes I can pick to create the right data chart.

Cons

  • More flow chart ideas.
  • Zoom in, Zoom out feature can be improved.
  • Memo feature can be improved.

Miro is good, it can be better but I think it is really good. I especially like the usability such as GUI. I really like the moving cursor. And I also like the how easy it is to create the data flow. As a PM, it is essential for everyone to create to nice dataflow so customer can understand well.
Data flow, as I said, data flow is the Miro's strength. I also like I can work with my co-worker at the same time. The feature is really nice and there are no lag which is amazing. So, we can work at the maximum efficiency. I usually use 2 -3 people at the same time.
I really do not know other tech stack but I think it is better than other diagram tool such as draw.io and Jira. Because Miro provide the best and first class GUI and user friendly service for everyone. So, If I have a choice, I take Miro over Draw.io for sure.

I think I will recommend my friend or colleague when the company is okay with 3rd party. Because one company was really worried about the data leak. So, appropriate situation can be personal project. I personally like the Miro. But when it involves with clients, it can be difficult to recommend because I cannot guarantee 100% of data leak.
