Overall Satisfaction with Miro

we are an architecture firm and use Miro as not only a dump for all our documents, but also as way to clearly see the progress of designs and projects. its nice to quickly see everything and drag things over to bring together content for a meeting or presentation on the fly.

Pros

  • collaboration, being able to see everyones work and tag questions or comments
  • the "infinite" zoom - I dont feel confined to how I dropped or laid things out at the beginning
  • everything in one place - organization that I can still see and move around everything quickly

Cons

  • even with jpegs sometimes the speed can still get slow
  • it would be cool to be able to temporarily lock points to jump back and forth between instead of scrolling all over my screen
  • easier/quicker way to blend away old things, so they're still there when I want them but not dragging down the file
  • collaboration - can work more seamlessly with other offices and partners
  • efficiency - no getting lost in the folders for a simple sketch or preliminary plan you want to reference
its pretty intuitive, I feel like it can actually do a lot more than I even know or use on a regular basis. very aesthetic and clean to operate and interact with.
the tag and comment feature. letting people work together at different times or locations and not sending back and forth a bunch of documents with notes in emails. also the idea of having an endless board, allows a timeline of what's happened without it feeling so strict
we phased out notion as a way to hold internal communications and keep track of to dos.
I have not used anything that is "like Miro". as previously stated, we used notion for collaboration and posting things we needed people to look at - but it's not even comparable in function or efficiency

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

for in process work it seems good, running through ideas and cross referencing. for any sort of final documentation it all gets too heavy.
