Miro at work.
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I'm currently using it to help me design journey maps, which are numerous at the company I work for, since this has never been done before. It is important to present it visually, and Miro helps me create it with ease. Also, the fact that it allows boards to serve as a collaborative space has been great for running brainstorming sessions with my colleagues.
Pros
- Create roadmaps.
- Have templates that ease the process.
- Allow collaborative environment.
- Presentation mode for slides is great.
Cons
- Sticky notes: I don't know how to expand and reduce shape formats.
- The option, when presenting, is to get everyone on the same slide I am presenting (like on the board).
- A "hide" feature for presentations, so we can display the info as we talk.
- More efficiency on creating and communicating along divisions.
- Having remote colleagues collaborate on a platform that enables equal collaboration leads to greater overall efficiency for creative projects.
- Being a tool for innovation implementation.
Templates are one of the best features because they let me learn new things I can do with Miro, or even different methodologies I can apply at work.
Yes, especially in a company with low design maturity, where people rely mostly on MS tools, bringing Miro to the table greatly facilitates organizing ideas, processes, roadmaps, etc.
- Asana, Notion and Trella Health Marketscape
It is the only one that offers a set of connected tools. I can plan here, but I can also do valuable stuff on the same platform.
