Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro for conceptual work on our software projects to create a common understanding internally and with our clients and stakeholders. Starting from Strategizing and vision creation, towards the collection of information and creation of mockups. All in one place for everybody, easily accessible and ready to collaborate.
Pros
- Create visual artefacts to get a common understanding.
- Create collaboration tools which are intuitive and easy to use.
- Create a place where you can store all kind of information and connect the dots.
Cons
- Boards with bigger PDFs tend to load slowly or crash.
- Touch control on an iPad might move things on the board instead of just moving around.
- Collaboration with external people requires onboarding them onto our team, even if they have a paid plan.
- Reducing physical workshop so saving costs on travels and rent.
- Increased team productivity with directly documented results.
- Faster delivery of projects by easier collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
Ideation: Bulk post-it functionality with timer & voting. Prototyping: Prototyping library. A lot of Templates in the Miroverse & a combination of different elements on the same Miro board make it handy to collaborate in one place instead of being spread over different tools and losing the overview. Summaries/creations with Artificial intelligence are also really helpful.
We have evaluated tools that combine multiple functionalities to avoid using separate tools with different logins and subscription plans. We use the tool Canva to combine different pricey design software to create a range of communication artefacts within the same tool, using our corporate identity across all channels.
