Saving me a lot of time to do time-tracking with my freelance designers
As a manager, I can monitor my freelancers' work activities via monday.com without violating their privacy or being too controlling
Since we're using monday.com, we've been increasing the number of outsourcing projects to vendors outside of U.S. in a lower cost since it's easier for us to communicate with them

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We've been using monday.com across the whole organization, especially during this pandemic time while almost everyone is working remotely. Our team has been expanding and we have team members working outside of U.S. so monday.com is the major platform we've been communicating. Monday.com has been saving us from diving into the sea of email cluster everyday and help driving team efficiency and effectiveness at work.

Pros and Cons

Allow user to set due date and showing process of a particular item
Showing a user is reading their post via their web browser/ mobile phone
Allow setting boards as private - so user doesn't have to do the "self-notes" outside of Monday.com
Automations - it's really helpful when a project/ item involves multiple members

Adding private message/ DM function would be nice
Allow different column setting within the same board
Allow adding handwritten note/ simple editing function on images uploaded within monday.com
Allow bold fonts or changing font color in "reply"

Usability

The interface and templates are very user-friendly. We have some senior colleagues on our team and they were not very familiar or comfortable using any platform other than traditional email at first, but now they seem very happy with monday.com and have been saying it's very helpful for them on project management.

Support Rating

I haven't been using the 24/7 customer support but some of my colleagues had some very positive feedback about it.

Reliability & Availability

Overall, monday.com is a really good team and project management tool. The interface is simple, user-friendly and as a designer, I love the cheerful color palette, it makes working less stressful. So far there is no other similar platform can complete with monday.com at the moment.

Monday.com is best for remote team so everyone can stay connected without having unnecessary zoom meeting or clustered email chain. It's also very suitable for team projects that requires immediate feedback/ response from every member of the team (for example, the design and marketing team).
