Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

  • Huge time saver in not having to do emails back and forth, unnecessary check-in's about projects.
  • Can easily change boards when you have to pivot (like with COVID-19).
  • Easy for new people in the company to get on board, even if they don't like changing systems.
  • Negative is that another system someone has to use.
Monday.com has been very useful in streamlining event's management with large scale events that involve various stages of planning and involvement by different departments in our organization. It has also been very helpful in organizing the hiring process. The board are easy to use and easily customizable to fit individual needs.
  • Easy to learn, even for non-technology "savvy" users.
  • Constantly improving with new features.
  • Makes collaborating easier and keeps people accountable to deadlines.
  • Uses various colors to make it visually appealing.
  • A drawback is that there is no undo button, even though there is an activity log.
  • I don't personally upload documents because Dropbox is more secure.
  • Wish there was a desktop version instead of having to go to a website.
Out of all the other project management systems that I have used, monday.com is by far the easiest and actually fun to use, I look forward to logging into my boards and seeing in real time the process my team has made. I have recommended it to other people because it makes things much easier for administrators.
I am not involved with the Customer Success Manager.
In the last year that I have used it, monday.com has only gotten better, they have great webinars to explain new features and be able to ask questions from their team. Overall, it's great! Work goes smoothly and stress free.

Monday.com really thrives as a project management system and keeping list, like an employee list, easily accessible to whoever needs it. I love to use it way more than a combination of email and Google Drive and Excel, and it has smart integrations like Slack. I also love that you can automate emails when a column changes (you customize the email). I think it's less appropriate if your job does not involve a lot of project management.
