Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

  • Ease of project setups - when we get a new contract, we can clone an existing board and edit it to meet the new contract terms.
  • Technology compatibility - With everyone using different computers/Operating systems, the web based access helps with compatibility, no real system requirements to worry about.
Monday is used by our project team to track different projects, who they are assigned to, time billed, and project footage/rates. It is not used by the entire company, but we needed a solution for managing projects and so far Monday has been awesome for that.

  • Pricing - it is a good value, but it is fairly expensive.
The functions you can add to the boards do almost everything you might need on a board. We sometimes use complicated formulas to track project billing based on footage, pre-requisites, etc. When the existing tools don't do what we want, we can implement custom formulas to get these numbers.
Customer support has been awesome, namely when we need help creating complicated formulas for project billing. A few times, the response time on those emails were a few hours after I sent the initial message, which is the only reason I gave a 9 instead of 10. Other times, the responses were almost instant, customer support is very high quality.
In the last year or so we have used Monday, you can count on one hand the times of outages/issues. There are issues in any aspect of technology, and Monday has done very well in keeping downtime to a minimum. Sometimes we get a notice about a service outage being fixed and we never noticed a problem in the first place. We appreciate the transparency.

We currently use Monday in a limited context compared to everything it can do, but it is perfect for our project tracking. It can track virtually anything, from timelines to project goals to inventory. We may expand how we use it in the future, as it is very versatile.
