Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

  • Easier setup for new projects and onboarding purposes.
  • Increase employee adoption and initiative to track in a space that is accessible to all.
monday.com is being used as a company-wide project management tool, as well as a CRM and recruiting/hiring/onboarding for new employees tool.

Pros

  • Availability of such a variety of board templates makes it easier to get a starting point and fully customize workspaces.
  • I love that monday.com is always adding new features, this tool has been integral to my company's transition to fully-remote working status in 2020.
  • The website is a great resource to learn more about features and functions, but also to share information with others for training purposes of the tool.

Cons

  • Subitems are fantastic to use within the main board, though I have faced some issues with them being omitted when exporting to excel or switching the view to Gantt chart view.
  • Perhaps adding more board templates for the use of individuals as private boards, to track action items and personal to do lists/items.
I love monday.com and have witnessed first hand how intuitive it is when adding guests and new users to the tool with little training. I would give a 10 but there is always room for improvement in terms of fixing bugs and adding additional capabilities.
Customer support has been able to quickly and effectively address all questions that have come up at my company and our CSM is a wonderful resource who initiates contact regularly to check in.
Features are very reliable, I enjoy that there are core functions within the boards themselves that do not change while new features are being added to the software. I find monday.com to be very reliable in my project management efforts and collaboration with my teammates.

monday.com has been a fantastic addition to my company's project management package. At any given point there are dozens of projects being carried out with many different combinations of employees so to have one source of truth that everyone can share, collaborate and update on has quickly become very important. Where we have come across difficulties is when we are dealing with sensitive information for example, not everyone at my company needs to have access to and update our CRM section so that required strategic discussions. We have also looked into using the forms function as a replacement for our mid-year and end-of-year evaluations that are normally done in PDF, but forms are less finalized once complete and missing an option for signatures so we are still workshopping that.
