Overall Satisfaction with monday.com
- Time Savings - condensed and structured conversations that would have otherwise been had over old-fashioned emails.
- Account Management - being able to relay all billing updates through monday.com boards, from project managers and account managers to our accounting team.
- Protocols - embedded protocols and procedures. Ex: use a form to request a new tool or supply -> Manager Approval -> Buyer purchasing -> Notification the order has been received.
monday.com is being used across the entire organization. We use it heavily for the design, install, and maintenance departments. We have a lot of focus around forms being submitted by our field teams for analysis and action items for our management team. It has been a lifesaver in providing a more structured work platform for the company, by eliminating many emails, texts, and even slack messages where information is often lost. The data is collected, secured, and filterable so that we can take that data and do something productive with it.
- Forms & checklists that are shared through links and then transferred to highly detailed, actionable items on monday.com boards.
- Material catalogue that can be copied and updated into a material schedule for every project we have running.
- Delivery schedule for our delivery driver.
- Whenever there is an update, it seems to change the ways columns function, at least temporarily. We get accustomed to a flow, then an update happens, and we get off track again.
- The to do list "My Week" generated in-app is not very helpful. It gets cluttered and is not useful for users balancing many boards and many tasks across departments.
- The dashboards are slow and seem easily bogged down.
This is a very reliable platform overall. It is sensational when I receive instant updates via push notifications, on my watch and on my phone. It allows me to absorb the message as soon as the action is complete, and then move on with my day. It puts my mind at ease. There is a lot going on with the platform and how we use it within our company, but it seems to handle the mass amounts of data very reliably. Because there is so much data stored, we back up the entire platform weekly to Dropbox. I wish this feature was automated.
