Use Cases and Deployment Scope

monday.com is used by our whole organization and departments to manage our projects, marketing initiatives, and client accounts. It streamlines our processes and creates greater transparency and visibility. We use the platform to communicate, ensure all projects are on track and communicate clearly with external stakeholders on project status.

Pros and Cons

Project Views: Ability to see a board from multiple perspectives.
Ease of use: It is easy to use and learn.
User Communication: Lots of opportunities to learn new functions and friendly support team.

Hidden Groups: Currently you can hide columns, but I'd like to be able to hide groups as well.
Sub-items: Sometimes not functioning perfectly (I know it's currently beta).

Usability

I rated it an 8 because it is an excellent software. I would like to see the addition of hidden groups, ability to customize columns for a specific grouping in order to elevate it to a 10. However, overall I appreciate and utilize the different views, chat and tagging, sub-items, and dashboards when executing a project.

Support Rating

monday.com has always responded in a prompt manner. Usually, I can find the answer I need at the help desk. I also regularly attend the webinars which I find helpful for learning the new functions. monday.com does a good job of keeping users up to speed on the new features and how to utilize them. I get the sense that the team is constantly improving and innovating their platform.

Reliability & Availability

monday.com has been reliable the whole time I've used it. I haven't had any challenges with feature reliability. Occasionally, sub-items (which are in beta), take a while to load but I understand that process is already being addressed.

Likelihood to Recommend

It is well suited for Project Management. It enables me to drive organizational transparency, think strategically, and engage all appropriate stakeholders in project visibility. I like that I can tag team members as well as guests, as well as utilize the different views to get a good sense of project scope. I wish the columns could be specific to a group item. Sometimes I need a column just for one group but it shows up across all groupings.
