Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

  • Saving time on delegation (from management -> employees).
  • Saves time on meetings.
Just being used by one department, with other departments having read access. We use it to organise our workdays, assign projects to each member of our department, and make sure everyone is across everything they need for their jobs. This makes it easy for other workers to pick up where someone else left off (if they are sick or on leave etc.). We use flagging to make sure high priority clients don't get forgotten.
  • Keeping track of projects for all employees (who is doing what, when work is due etc.).
  • Time tracking - important for client work (and helps us know how much to charge in the future!).
  • Easy and quick search, helpful for bringing up past work in meetings (don't have to remember exact time/place of the project files, just the name in monday.com).
  • Better onboarding (especially for users who are not the "admin" of the board).
  • Examples of how we can use automations better.
  • Reminders.
It is fairly simple to use, but it does take a bit of time to introduce to new people, especially if you want them to use monday.com's advanced features.
Have not had to use monday.com support yet - but very happy to know that they are "on call" if needed.
monday.com is very smooth and reliable - easy to use across devices, and is the first and last thing I look for work each day. It is quick to search and move things around. It feels responsive.

For work that is project based, and you have lots of projects -- especially if you need to track your time for each. Helpful to track what work is in our hands and which work is with the client. Not a replacement for email/messengers etc. - everyone still needs to be across what is happening. I use monday.com as a repository/ongoing board of work, but could have a better way to "store" and display information/resources/files that you will be needing to use repeatedly.
