Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

monday.com is being used by the entire company to keep track of tasks, deadlines, and workloads. The problems it resolves are missing deadlines with clients, employees being overwhelmed with work, and forgetting about tasks.

Pros

  • Makes task management look pretty
  • Automates daily/weekly/monthly tasks easily
  • Allows notifications for the right people at the right time

Cons

  • Being able to create your own weekly workload without it having to be an admin thing for the entire team
  • Sometimes glitches
  • The notifications for employee birthdays helps with work culture.
  • The ability to assign multiple people to tasks helps with collaboration.
  • The workload feature helps with having employees who aren’t overwhelmed and unhappy.
There is information about each type of feature, and it is easy to figure out after looking through them, too.
I love using monday.com, so when the site loads slowly or glitches, I panic a bit because my entire work life is on the page. However, restarting the app always works to get it back to normal, so I’m happy with that.

A scenario where it is well suited is a place to create a social media calendar with the dates each post needs to go up. I can’t think of any scenarios where it’s less appropriate.
