Overall Satisfaction with monday.com
The Black Sheep uses monday.com as a project management tool. We use it to manage our campaign requests from their inbound all the way through their completion. We've built our boards to work linearly so they move from group to group and are easy to comprehend. The problems we face are that our day-to-day responsibilities require a ton of small updates and communication. The commenting system works great because we can keep all of our comments organized within each item that refers to each specific campaign we're working on. Seeing as we have so many requests from clients coming in so frequently, having boards to organize each campaign by client, company, service, manager, and a variety of other variables allows us to stay incredibly organized. The archiving system is also especially useful so we can save space. monday.com functions similar to most social media platforms so it's relatively user-friendly, especially for our young group of employees, many of them interns. We utilize monday.com primarily for to-dos and requests. This is especially helpful because everyone knows exactly where to look to find if they're assigned to a request or a project. It also allows us to give context regarding that project and organize those projects by their assigned due dates.
- Assigning items/notifications.
- Linear functioning.
- User-friendly.
- It's not cohesive. There are times we wish we could integrate certain automation but it's not possible.
- It doesn't have as much space for the amount of data we need.
- It has an inbox and notifications, only one of them is really necessary. It just provides unnecessary notifications.
- Increased company accountability.
- Increased company organization.
- Increased company communication.
monday.com is mostly reliable. My biggest issue is its notification system. There are too many options to sort through notifications. I only need to see what I haven't checked yet, like Facebook. Sometimes monday.com doesn't update and I miss important notifications. It's common for monday.com to not work or struggle to work correctly. It's not a lot, maybe once a month or once every other month. But, when it's down, it's hard to do anything else.
